Ο χώρος του Ennea βρίσκεται στον 9 ο όροφο του 5* ξενοδοχείου Monasty επί της Β. Ηρακλείου 45, του πρώτου  “Autograph Collection by Marriott”  ξενοδοχείου της Θεσσαλονίκης.  Άμεσα συνδεδεμένο με τη σχεδιαστική γραμμή της ξενοδοχειακής μονάδας όπου στεγάζεται, αναδεικνύει την αίγλη του βυζαντινού κόσμου, μέσα από το minimal ύφος του. Καμπύλες γραμμές συνδυάζονται με γραμμικά στοιχεία δημιουργώντας οπτικές εναλλαγές, ενώ η χρήση φυσικών υλικών προκαλεί το αίσθημα της ζεστασιάς και της φιλοξενίας. Η άπλετη θέα περιμετρικά του κτιρίου αναδεικνύεται από τα μεγάλα διαμπερή ανοίγματα, τα οποία ενοποιούν τον στεγασμένο χώρο με το εξωτερικό περιβάλλον. Εισερχόμενοι στον χώρο του rooftop, οι επισκέπτες συναντούν έναν επιμήκη διάδρομο ο οποίος τους οδηγεί είτε στον χώρο του μπαρ, είτε στην εξωτερική πισίνα του rooftop. Στο ΒΑ τμήμα του ENNEA, με τη θέα προς την Άνω πόλη διαμορφώνεται ο lounge καθιστικός χώρος της ταράτσας. Στα ΝΔ αναπτύσσεται η πισίνα με τις ξαπλώστρες και τις άνετες θέσεις που εξασφαλίζουν την χαλάρωση των ενοίκων ή των επισκεπτών του ξενοδοχείου. Τα χρώματα και οι υφές που επιλέχθηκαν έχουν ως πηγή έμπνευσης τη βυζαντινή ιστορία και τέχνη. Ο φωτισμός άμεσος ή έμμεσος, όπου χρειάζεται, δημιουργεί το αντίστοιχο μυσταγωγικό ύφος που απαιτεί ο χώρος. Δεν μπορούμε να παραβλέψουμε την περιμετρική φύτευση σε λιτό ύφος που λειτουργεί ως φυσικό φράγμα του αστικού τοπίου και προσκαλεί τον επισκέπτη για μια γρήγορη απόδραση από την καθημερινότητα στην πόλη.

Ennea is located on the 9 th floor of the 5* MonAsty hotel on V.Irakleiou 45, the first
“Autograph Collection by Marriott” Hotel in Thessaloniki . Directly connected with the design line of the hotel unit, it highlights the prestige of the Byzantine World, through its minimal style. Curved lines combined with linear elements are creating interesting visual transitions, while the usage of natural materials gives the feeling of warmth and hospitality. The expansive view around the building is the great highlight of the terrace. Entering the rooftop area, guests encounter an elongated corridor that leads them either to the bar or to the exterior pool area. All visitors can enjoy a coffee accompanied by a snack, or a cocktail throughout the whole year. The lounge seating area is formed at the N.E. part of Ennea, where anyone can admire the view of the Upper Town of Thessaloniki. At the SW part, where the swimming pool is located, sunbeds and comfortable seats ensure the relaxation of the hotel’s tenants and guests.
The chosen colors and textures, are inspired by Byzantine history and art. Direct and indirect lighting, create the corresponding mystique style required by the concept. Last but not least, the planting around the rooftop that frames the simple style of the design, acts as a natural barrier of the urban landscape
and invites the visitors to escape from urban everyday life.
